The Reverend Dr. Allison J. Tanner is Minister of Christian Formation at Lakeshore Avenue Baptist Church, Oakland, CA. She has also taught Ethics and Philosophy courses at American Baptist Seminary of the West, Berkeley, and Holy Names University, Oakland. As a minister, educator and activist, Allison works for justice and healing in her community.
